This makes me feel sick, to think someone could even think of doing such a thing....I live very close to Macc and many people travel to pay their respects and to even imagine what his family and friends are going through is awful....

Yes Up the shambles! So glad Pete is proving everybody wrong and im so proud he has managed to get off drugs...now I wish everybody would piss off and leave the guy alone...go slate some rockstars who haven't made the effort to get off the drugs instead of spreading rumours Pete is back on themOh and yeah cheers NME for publishing the truth rather than what will sell!Hopefully Pete will write some more quality tunes in time for Leeds fest!

I think the bands XWarning12 said would be ace. I am also looking desperately for The Courteeners, thought they might get a job headlining the Carling but im not so sure anymore, im thinking they will play NME tent but I think they'll play with Leeds being one of the closest festivals near home....need some more Mancs there!

hey he was better in Manchester and we dont get a mention. We are his home crowd and he only did glasgow as a warm up for us lol! I met him after and when he finished having pics with us he drove past us in his audi wound down his window and waved at us and thanked us for waiting! What a legend! And then Ross tried to get us in the cribs dressing room and some stupid bouncer had a go at hi so we had to wait downstage for Ryan and Gary. Best night ever. Cheers NME and cheers XFM Manchester for the free tickets!¬ x
