Babyshambles banned from headlining festival

I don't really think the fact that it is Babyshambles who are involved that is the issue here, rather that such a ridiculous judgement has been made by someone in such a powerful position with regards to a music event. Even if you think Babyshambles are the worst band ever (you'd be wrong!), this is still beyond ludicrous.Surely if the law is in place to allow such craziness, it sets a worrying precedent for the future of live music, particularly small, independent festivals?
