So out of the closet come all the Pete and Amy Bashers - The truth of the matter is that they are both fucking brilliant at what they do. So They take drugs?.. Is there anyone on the planet naive enough to think that The Beatles, The Stones, Bowie, etc etc werent off their heads the majority of the time. The 'setting a bad example' phrase is so over used. If somebody uses the excuse of "I take drugs because Pete Doherty / Amy Winehouse does" then there is obviously an underlying problem in the first place. Its my personal choise not to take drugs but i couldnt give a shit if Pete Doherty does or not. However he has flaunted the law too many times and deserves this punishment but i for one cant wait for him to be back performing. In our current musical climate - where our biggest export is an X Factor winner - I would chose Pete and Amy everytime.

God Pete, when will you ever learn. He will get off with it anyway - At least im hoping he will. His solo show at Glastonbury last year was truely amazing, as were his solo shows at the Rhythm Factory recently. In fact, lets tell Jay-Z to sling his hook and get Pete Headlining.
