Well well well MR. Guy Ritchie...pouting, sometime metrosexual ex squeeze of Ms. Ciccone . It sure takes guts to lambast your ex missus a full year after your marriage has ended. It will be lovely for your little lad and step daughter to read, in years to come, that you consider their mother "Retarded". Madonna is perhaps a ropey actress, and needs to show a little less 51 year old vulva but compare her career with yours....One average mockney sub everything caper followed by the same film plus Brad Pitt followed by even worse dross...Madonna on the other hand, several really rather good pop tunes over 25 year period.

A lot of bands from my teenage years have decided to come back for the grey dollar...Pixies, MaryChain, MBV, dinasour JR et al. It's understandable in a way, as their music didn't reach a wide audience the first time around. On the other hand it must be frustrating when the balding fans of yesteryear only want to hear the "classics" , giving little attention to any new material. It'all about the pension plan im afraid...if John and George were still with us you know that by now we would be up to our balls in "sergeant Pepper" tours and such like.

Now call me cynical if you like but it's an amazing coincidence that Ronan's record has a mother theme just around the time of Mother's day. Im surprised that his record company didnt spot the opportunity to sell his album at this time but to merely feel lucky and blessed that this fortuitous timing provided them with a successful release.

Mon 09 Mar, 2009
Elbow have given us some good tunes admittedly....though unfortunately the "throw your curtains wide..." one will forever be used in the end credits of gritty northern drama's to signify a loser drunk/addict/gambler realising the error of his ways and vowing to give these things up while ironically and simultaneously winning the lottery then misplacing the ticket then making up with his dour hatchet faced wife only to find the ticket then realising that his life isn't about money, it's all to do with starting again and learning from your mistakes...

Wed 17 Sep, 2008
I have lost ALL respect for john Lydon now....my admiration for him has fizzled away over the years as his talent appeared to dwindle to nothing.....i thought he stood for something, its not even the "butter" thing its more the erosion of his ideals, that we should treat each other with respect, and ALWAYS tell the truth....his recent behaviour shows us a man who allegedly now attacks women, balls out poor duffy, leaving her in tears at the Mojo awards, and has a team around him who berate Kele from bloc party simply for being a black man with a "black attitude" he, like Morrisey ( the other let down) talk to US about England while sunning themselves in the USA or Rome etc! listen stephen and John, the reasons why you now hate England are the same reasons that WE love it....multicultural, independant, diverse sexualities, equality, hatred of rascism.....the Sex pistols and PIL cds will be sold, along with the Smiths down at the boot sale on sunday xxx
