Made up piece of pop trivia of the day: 'I can see why damon albarn wrote the song 'charmless man' about him'. For that you are a goon. However, I can understand if you're upset having paid for hotel, travel etc, but if that's not the case then why waste your time being upset?Viva hate.

Pete Doherty reveals Libertines Reading And Leeds Festival offer

Frontman says he and Carl Barat have had an offer

Tue 10 Feb, 2009

So if I've read this correctly, as long as Doherty is surrounded by 'light', that means he has positive energy and The Libertines will reform. Now I ask myself - 'how much do I want this?'I do own a couple of torches... Nah, can't be arsed. Why don't they just get that bloke from Razorlight to fill in - I hear he's quite good.

Totally agree. Etta : The Queen of the Blues, and a far greater soul singer than Beyonce will ever be - until she's lived a bit more...

The Hold Steady: 'Radiohead have lost the plot'

Band criticise Oxford quintet's pay what you want plan

Sun 17 Aug, 2008

In further news, the bloke from The Hold Steady went on to say that The Beatles and The Stones were crap,, Bowie is 'boring and uninspired' (although he 'loves that song he did with Jagger')', and he's 'pissing his knickers in anticipation of the new Keane album'. What an absolute gooch.

Mark Ronson lashes out at Noel Gallagher

Producer hits back at Oasis leader over 'three chords' comment

Sun 17 Aug, 2008

Biting critisism from two razor sharp minds. Meeow. Gallagher's advice tells you all you need to know. You won't find an Oasis fan who doesn't like an Oasis tune because Gallagher has written the same tune several hundred times over. Oasis fans and music fans are two different things. We know Gallagher is as much of a musical genius as he is a United fan, & it gets a bit embarrassng when he mocks other people. As for Ronson, when you're that offensive to listen to you have to expect a bit of abuse every now and then.

Keane give away new song for free today (Aug 4)

Band demonstrate new direction with download

Mon 04 Aug, 2008

A good proportion of Keane haters do so because this band appeared to have no balls when it came to progressing and creating something remotely interesting. What a surprise then that when they do announce a daring new sound 'ignoring the rules of good taste' it turns out to be the 'new' sound of every indie disco from the last two years or so. I'll be sticking with another album recorded in Berlin which really did do what Keane promised... 'Baby, I've been, breaking glass in your room again'!
