These comments are inexcusable and serve no purpose other than to perpetuate negative attitudes towards gay people, which should be well and truly a thing of the past at this point in time.I am not against individuals having their own opinions on these matters, as extreme and unacceptable as I personally believe they are, but to make a direct and public denouncement of one whole section of society without any particular reason other than to effectively spread hate is of the lowest level of artistic expression I can think of, and this â€˜artistâ€™ deserves to be denied the right to have the privilege of working within the music sector based on this appalling statement.I would advise him to deal with his own issues behind these feelings and reassess himself as an individual before ever feeling he has the right to make outdated, damaging and hateful comments such as these again.
