Why does Lily Allen think she should have been nominated anyway? Without her Dad or social networking sites she'd be a shelf stacking druggy with six kids by now.

Raging Liam Gallagher hits out at fan during Oasis' London gig

Gallagher calls audience member a 'fat boy' and 'fucking student'

Wed 22 Jul, 2009

Comments (1)

So I'm guessing he's just supposed to grin and bear the fact that some idiot launched a pound coin at him? Any of you would have done the same, but because it's a Gallagher, the anti Oasis brigade think seperate rules apply to them.

Kasabian and Florence... early bookmakers' favourites for Barclaycard Mercury Prize

Odds revealed for 2009 prize

Tue 21 Jul, 2009

Comments (1)

Would absolutely love Kasabian to win it. But even though they're favourites I think it'll go to either Bat For Lashes or Glasvegas... or even The Horrors.

Kasabian reveal how wild party led to surprise collaboration

Tom Meighan explains how he ended up on new Jersey Budd single

Tue 30 Jun, 2009

Comments (1)

Wolf, I'd be readying your cat cos Jersey's gonna take off in a big way sooner rather than later. I'd like to know in what way he lacks charisma, style or tunes? 'Wonderlands' is a fantastic Summer album which has received a ton of praise and he's had some major investment from fellow artists on his Bandstocks deal, so I think when you've got the likes of Kasabian investing in you amongst others, you must possess a decent amount of style, charisma and tunes.

I think in all fairness he was misunderstood and he's just clearing things up. Still... he's not come across well at all in this interview here.

Arctic Monkeys premiere new songs online

Band post up clips of two songs in new video

Tue 19 May, 2009

The piece of paper that keeps changing has the names of the new songs off the album on. So there's songs called 'Dangerous Animals', 'Propellor', 'Crying Lightning' and 'Secret Door' on the record. I'm clever me.

Noel Gallagher admits to football hooligan past

Oasis man says he was part of a Man City 'firm'

Tue 06 Jan, 2009

It's funny how Oasis haters spend more time slagging off Noel and Liam at every opportunity than they do enjoying the bands they are fans of. Keep up the good work Noel.

So now X Factor winners don't even have a team of writers to do their songs for them? They just nick other artists' songs and make money that way? Talentless shit after talentless shit. It needs to end.

Kasabian to snub festivals in 2009?

Band say they may give festivals a break until 2010

Tue 18 Nov, 2008

Comments (1)

So because Kasabian make music that doesn't sound like all the dross... monotonous indie shite that's currently polluting the British music scene that renders them shit does it? It's unbelievable how many indie fans shit their pants when a band has a bit of self belief and a cocky swagger. So they don't want to do any festivals next year... why's that a bad thing? They're off with Oasis doing shows that will put Glastonbury and anything else to shame. They're skipping festivals for all the right reasons... so they don't become complacent and repetitive. More bands should do the same.

Oasis' Noel Gallagher slams Mick Hucknall after Manchester comment

Noel says Mick’s comments are 'irrelevant'

Sat 22 Nov, 2008

Comments (4)

People on here saying Noel Gallagher has been writing the same music for 10 years? Never! I'd never expect those comments in a million years from some of the people registered on this site. You'll all be using that great argument about 'Oasis not being relevant' any more any time now as well. I think the fact Oasis sold out their arena tour in roughly an hour and then shifted half a million tickets for next Summers stadium shows in about 7 hours speaks volumes of how 'irrelevant' they really are. More bands should release the same music for 10 years like Noel Gallagher has... then maybe the British music scene would be miles better than it is at the minute.

We Are Scientists think Rage Against The Machine are pretentious

New Yorkers say bands shouldn't get political

Tue 26 Aug, 2008

Comments (1)

Whilst I'm not a fan of bands being overly political and sometimes seeminly ramming their ideas down our throats, I think it's wrong for WAS to slate RATM like this. I mean at the end of the day Rage are only trying to get their opinions heard and politics if obviously something they feel strongly about, and always have done. If they want to dress up like Guantanamo prisoners onstage then more power to them. They've always been politically charged so why stop now? Seems to me that WAS are simply trying to gain some publicity for themselves due to the fact they're a sub par band with little going for them.

Kaiser Chiefs hit back at Oasis' Noel Gallagher

Band suggest Gallagher is after publicity

Mon 18 Aug, 2008

Comments (1)

Soundedd what does Caleb Folan have to do with anything? He plays up front for Hull City!On topic though, it's not as if Noel goes out of his way to slag people off or whatever. He gets interviewed all the time, what with being part of one of Britain's biggests bands. It's not as if he calls press conferences just to declare someone shit. What makes me laugh though is as soon as he declared how much he liked Kasabian, some people then decided to take up hating Kasabian because they'd got Noel Gallagher's seal of approval. So no matter what he says or does some narrow minded people will always disagree or try and find fault with him.

Amy Winehouse plays V Festival - just!

After dramatic delay singer wins over Staffordshire crowd

Sat 16 Aug, 2008

Comments (1)

It's a shame everyone in the crowd didn't start boo'ing her when she dedicated songs to her scumbag husband. She might have just fucked off the stage then. Let's face it she can barely perform live. Just watching her on T4 and she's holding a guitar which she's not playing and it looks like she's gurning rather than singing.

Oasis' Noel Gallagher: 'I like Jay-Z'

Despite Glastonbury diss, Gallagher says he's a fan of the rapper

Fri 04 Jul, 2008

Comments (1)

To be fair to Noel he never said he disliked Jay Z or his music. He just stated that he thought he wasn't suited for Glastonbury. This opinion was mirrored by many others also including Dizzee Rascal remember who said Jay Z didn't have the 'crossover appeal' of a Kanye or Eminem. Did that draw huge headlines? No. But Noel Gallagher voices his opinion and all of a sudden the press label him controversial and make a big deal out of it. The man had a valid point and isn't retracting anything he has said. He's simply stating the facts. He never said he disliked Jay Z yet a lot of people have wrongly drawn that conclusion.

Kasabian preparing 'hypnotic techno '60s road movie' album

Band speak about forthcoming third album

Tue 24 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

If they can continue to improve on what have been 2 excellent albums then this has 'album of the year' written all over it. They're one of the few bands who's music you'll listen to in 10-15-20 years time and still really appreciate it. Unlike the countless generic indie bands around at the minute. Also their live act is nothing short of phenomenal. They stole the show at Glastonbury last year and made the Arctics look second rate in comparison.
