"Oooh! The Originality! I bet this brilliant move will change the music industry!" actually, the charlatans manager alan mcgee had the idea before radiohead, and in a conversation with radiohead management shocked them that the album and single would actually be free, as opposed to choosing your own price. but considering the fact that radiohead actually invented music, i guess it is unimportant.
