Alternative article title: "Lily Allen is thick, definitive proof". More serious note though, I don't understand how everything this woman says pisses me off so badly.

Linkin Park: 'We'll take Muse's title of best live band in the world at Sonisphere'

Chester Bennington tells NME.COM the band are gearing up to 'kick some ass'

Wed 24 Jun, 2009

Comments (1)

Actually I saw muse live at the end of 2007 and I have to say they didn't really do anything special. Their stage set was seriously cool, but they sorta just stood there and played... like 90% of other bands do. Now Slipknot - there's a good live band. Oh dear. I can't remember if I was being sarcastic or not...

Oasis' Noel Gallagher 'outraged' at Russell Brand BBC scandal

'It's hardly offensive' says guitarist about radio debacle

Thu 30 Oct, 2008

Comments (1)

Okay, firstly even if people didn't listen to the show they have every right to complain if they don't agree. After all the BBC is funded by tax payer money, so as long as these complainers have paid their taxes there is nothing stopping them complaining as much as they want. Secondly, although I agree that this has been blown way our ot proportion I cannot even begin to describe how glad I am that Ross and (to a lesser extent) Brand are off the air. Thirdly, just because the Granddaughter is a burlesque dancer does not make it okay to verbally abuse her on national radio. That, my friends is a very dangerous attitude. Lastly, to TOMQ84, I think you'll find that Noel is complaining not about "middle class toffs" but about the general readyness of the entire British population to believe everything and anything that newspapers tell them - your classist comments are basically just blatant discrimination.

Pink slams The Queen and Prince William - Daily Gossip

Mark Ronson, Oasis, Girls Aloud Kylie - your music gossip stop

Mon 20 Oct, 2008

Comments (1)

Dear "2nd Earl of Rochester", I do hope you're being sarcastic, because otherwise you're an idiot. Pink has every right to have a go at whomever she wants - as do we all. This right, is called the right to free speech and, I think you will find, can be found in Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights, Article 13 of the American Convention on Human Rights, and Article 9 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights. So really, although you may think that the Royal Family are above us all and deserve to be worshipped like Gods, we can all say whatever we like abou them.Goodbye :)

Oasis top the UK album chart

'Dig Out Your Soul' succeeds where single failed

Sun 12 Oct, 2008

Comments (1)

Dear "the_troglodyte", I'm not a massive fan of any of the bands that you mentioned there but I think Oasis fans have a real cheek to slag anyone else's music tastes.I mean, they just keep rereleasing the same single over and over again... how lazy is that!Plus they have crap haircuts. Although that seems to be a requirement for rock bands nowadays...But I agree with everyone else about Iglu & Hartley... who the fuck IS buying that?

Sat 04 Oct, 2008

Dear Noel,To be "taken out of ones comfort zone" is a commonly used expression which means, basically, one is trying things one is not used to. I know the metaphorical use of "comfort" may have confused your poor brain, but that's not reason to kick out at Tom - he's perfectly harmless. If you don't know what something means, just ask. No-one is judging you. We're all friends here.Lots of love;Matthew :) x

Guns N' Roses' 'Chinese Democracy' set for exclusive release this year?

Long-awaited album could be out before 2009

Sat 27 Sep, 2008

Comments (1)

An Open Letter To Axl Rose,The funny thing is, after all that time, effort and money no-one actually gives a shit about 'Chinese Democracy'. Perhaps if you had released the album in 1995, when your band were still relevant someone might have bought it.Also, on a slightly lighter note, you look like a tit with dreadlocks - everyone knows you're going bald.

Alas, you didn't, and so I ask who are the illiterate ones here? yeah! what twats! Imagine having an opinion!!!He didn't slag their music, which in a band is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. Rage make great music, but the politics side of things gets annoying. If I want to do something political I'll do it myself, I don't need a band to tell me what to do.

The Hold Steady: 'Radiohead have lost the plot'

Band criticise Oxford quintet's pay what you want plan

Sun 17 Aug, 2008

Comments (1)

Since both Radiohead and The Hold Steady are my favourite bands I'm kinda stuck with what to think on this one. On the one hand I totally disagree that Radiohead have "lost the plot" (In Rainbows is possible my favourite Radiohead record so far) on the other hand those of you criticizing the Hold Steady should actually try listening to the songs (the lyrics especially) before saying owt.

The Kooks tell Isle Of Wight VIPs to 'Fuck off'

Luke Pritchard tells the festival guests where to stick it

Sun 15 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

Does Luke realise that he's ever so slowly becoming a complete charicature of himself? He's not exactly a working class hero himself, is he?And what's wrong with the VIP area? Is it not "rock 'n' roll" to watch your favourite bands playing in comfort? These attemps to desperately impress the crowd are completely in vain. They're still not going to buy your albums, they still won't listen to your music. No matter how many VIP areas you invite to "fuck off" it wont sell you more albums - because your albums are shit.Damn, I didn't want to become one of these hateful twats that slag singers they don't like off on nme.com in comments, but some people just deserve it.

Everclear announce gig at Guantanamo Bay

Wed 14 May, 2008

Comments (1)

what about the folks in uniform on the other side of the fence?okay, so their orange jumpsuits aren't quite as stylish as US Army camo, but they need gigs too!on a more serious note, this is awful - as Lewis Jamieson said, by doing this the band are essentially condoning the imprisonment and torture of many innocent people. If the US government want, my band'll play Guantanamo too, we'll do a nice wee gig for all the "terrorists" they've got locked up there ;)

Emo music attacked over teen suicide

Genre blasted again after 13 year-old 'emo girl' commits suicide

Thu 08 May, 2008

Comments (1)

How many My Chemical Romance fans are there the world over? And how many commit suicide? It's a very small percentage (naturally I don't know it exactly, but you get where I'm coming from) of kids who kill themselves because of "emo" music.Anyway, what I'm saying is, you cannot blame a genre of music, no matter how much black they wear, for the tragic suicide of a young girl. It would appear there was a history of depression in this girl's storyGod, next you'll be blaming rap music for all the shootings... oh, hold on...p.s. - booicore; have you ever sat through a Kylie album? THAT is depressing...
