ha ha scott matthews - fretwell's a better songwriter! nice tunes but not in the same league -as Noel,Kelly,Weller! ! i'll give you Bono as he's wrote the best album since blood on the tracks!!!radiohead??? same ol same ol - really a very over-rated band two brilliant albums but since then wot? and album which was over publisiced for the fact it was given away for free. -p.s. Bono isnt british! Great British songwriting of observations of the working class! sorry but maybe for me the working class observation means something from the smiths and the jam and the small faces! other than Ryan Adams and Bob Dylan & REM worldwide there isnt anythin better than oasis,stereophonics & weller! hit and miss Oasis still better than anythin this country has produced since the beatles! and there hasnt been a better debut album since Word Gets Around! but i suppose the NME dont like Kelly like so apparently its not cool- but there still a better live band than the new breed of skinny jeans and mocknet accents - and as ive seen Oasis,Springsteen, REM,McCartney,Weller,U2,Dylan,Neil Young,Ryan Adams,Jesse Malin,Kings Of Leon,The Verve,The Who,Travis,Ocean Colours Scene,Stephen Fretwell and so on.. all live i can quite easily comment and confirm that The Stereophonics are up there!! individuality and opinion is the key but compared to Kelly Jones the majority of the NME's plugged bands are absolute gash!!!

ha ha wot a spanner- Kelly Jones is one of the only great british songwriters left with Gallagher n Weller- of course the NME dont appreciate that type of talent as it doesnt appeal to the scenster who might not like the fact he wears jeans that dont cut the circulation to his testicles off! and he's wrote better b-sides than pete doherty,razorlight n the killers n all the rest of the student gash have wrote! Lets fuckin be havin some of that Kelly! Back in the toon for Xmas!!! This is Music!!!
