I don't know how many of you download music using torrents. But i can speak for myself here when i say i have downloaded music for over 5 years and if i have enjoyed it enough, i have gone out and supported the artist. One thing downloading music has done, has opened up the world to different music to me, also made me see that some records are not worth paying for and has saved me wasting £12 of my money on a lot of occasions. Not everyone has access to the music they love, nor the money to continue buying it and this statement made by someone so rich, is frankly laughable.
