Band kick off carbon-friendly British dates with London gig

Mr Red, I am aware that I can listen to songs on the radio, though I wonder whether you've fully grasped the concept of "live music", key word being "live". Anyway, the gig: I know Radiohead were against the release of their own Greatest Hits, and it seems this gig served as a kind of musical representation of that. Great in terms of 'making a statement', not so great in terms of entertainment, and it only served to distance and deflate the eagerly expectant crowd. Don't get me wrong, the set was not without moments of brilliance, it just lacked crowd pleasers, a few of which should surely be considered staples of any gig this size, and the palpable sense of disappointment that emanated from the departing masses was undeniable.
