I see Lost Tunes is run by Universal! I see they ARE using a good bitrate! 320kbs which is "the highest possible for MP3 and better than iTunes (256) My BIG grouse with Universal is that they are apparently dropping the best silver disc format SACD! Why? Its compatible with CD players and actually is as good sonically as analogue vinyl!

I only hope the sound quality of these downloads is above the 128kbs normal! The Radiohead album was only 160! I'm getting on in years, but low bitrates are noticeable! Bloc Party was better at 192kbs! Why are so few concerned about sound fidelity? 128 is NOT near CD
