I find it hard to believe that the Arctic Monkey's appearance left any of the crowd surprised as the show had been promoted for a couple of months in advance with The Arctic Monkey's name not only clearly on all the advertising but at the top looking like it was their head-lining gig with Queens of the Stone Age as support.
