I was there, had a fantastic time. However i was also there at Brixton last November when the Pistols started up again. The atmosphere at Brixton that night was electric, it was like watching history, and i had a bloody good night. But at the Isle of Wight the atmosphere wasn't as great, but has no body twigged that the whole weekend was more than just a Sex Pistols gig? Unlike the Brixton gigs not everyone has come to just see them. Some of the crowd probably fucking hate The Pistols, if so they're not gona wana make loads of noise and start a riot. In my opinion The Pistols are not a festival band, however they put on a great show and i enjoyed it thouroughly. Fair play to Tom Clarke on the security though, health and safety has gone way too far in the country.
