Editors' Tom Smith: 'Radiohead's 'In Rainbows' release was selfish'

Frontman says album release was in conflict with Ed O'Brien's stance

I got it for free via the official route. There was a processing fee on card transactions, so if you decided to pay 5p you would actually pay 5p fee, but if you set the price at £0.00 there was no fee. £0.00 was set as the minimum payment. I can see what Tom Smith is getting at but I think it's a little off the issue. Just because someone offers one thing for free does not necessarily imply that they believe everything should be free.

Jemima Rooper - that's a really good suggestion, I'd like to see her do it. I'm confused by the people they are suggesting above, wouldn't it be more appropriate to hire an actress?

If they had better support, I'd probably go. Kasabian and The Enemy makes a pretty disappointing line up for me though. When I saw them at Murrayfield they had Doves and Happy Mondays - far better.

Morrissey and Marr collaborate for Smiths hits and rarities compilation

The pair have both worked on the new release

It's a pretty poor reflection of a label's attitute when their bands have more compilation albums available than studio albums. The Smiths only made 4, but there are at least 5 compilations now. Louder Than Bombs is the only one worth getting.

Led Zeppelin finally agree to tour?

Reports state that the band - with Robert Plant in tow - will hit the road next year

As much as I would go and see Led Zep and the bands listed above if they were, I can't help but think these re-unions are damaging the legacy and legendary status which these bands manage to preserve. I don't they should do it.

Gig ticket prices 'should be more honest'

Consumer body calls for companies to stop hiding booking and postage fees

I'm glad to see that this is being investigated, it's been a rip-off for a long time and is getting worse. I bough one ticket for Neil Young through SeeTickets recently and got charged a large booking fee PLUS £4.50 for postage, yet the ticket arrived in a brown envelope sent 2nd class, costing maybe 40p in total. I emailed them to enquire about the high postage cost and received no reply!

Incorrect - when asked if it was too loud for him he replied that it couldn't be as loud as war. That is just the DVD title.
