Frontman blasts fans for being too quiet at Isle Of Wight festival

I was there, and neither myself nor my friends bothered to watch the Pistols. Don't get me wrong, the album was seminal, if a bit samey, but it's not 1977 any more,a mad old enough to be my dad trying to be controversial doesn't just isn't my idea of entertainment.

Nice one Radiohead - using biofuels which although environmentally friendly, tend to be grown on land in third world countries which would be better served growing crops to actually feed people.

Glastonbury ticket-selling weekend: Fans' reactions

How has the nation reacted to this weekend's (April 6) Glastonbury ticket selling kick-off?

Mon 07 Apr, 2008

I've noticed a few comments here along the lines of Jay Z will at least mean there's less middle class, casual music fans here. Not sure I can agree with that - all the Jay Z fans I know are as middle class as cucumber sandwiches, trying to give themselves an edge by liking a hip-hop artist. Similarly, Jay Z is only the biggest artist in his genre because he can appeal to the casual listener - he has exactly the same audience as Coldplay or Snow Patrol.

Glastonbury tickets still on sale

Limited number of tickets up for grabs

I went last year and loved it, despite the shocking weather. This year however, the lack of a decent headliner has put me off, and because the rest of the line up isn't published beforehand, I'm not going to rick forking out £170 on the off chance someone I like will be paying. Also, there seems to be tons more festivals this year than before - my guess is people are going elsewhere.

Even more frustrating considering both the Culture and Children Minsters stated only last month that the Astoria could be saved. I'm going to write to them telling them to stick to their promises for once. Anyone else who feels as I do should as well.
