Agree with Damiank. Their early work is musical bible. However, the recent vintage is quite poor. Here's to hoping this album rocks and please, no duets with Mary J. Blige on this one!!!

Couldn't agree more, Wolf. I love them, don't get me wrong. But this is getting to be bit much; kind of anti-Noel if you get my meaning. If the Oasis lunch box comes out next, I may vomit.

Believe me I was he was British too so he could be your Prime Minister. Alas, Noel is yet another celebrity lining up for the "messiah" Obama. At least his music is still good.

Noel Gallagher: 'Radiohead's 'In Rainbows' was free marketing'

Oasis legend still praises Thom Yorke and co

Tue 08 Jul, 2008

Comments (1)

Wow...alot of Oasis haters here. As an avid Oasis fan, I am not blinded enough to admit that outside of DBTT, the middle three or four albums were poor. However, to slag him off as being third rate pub rock is a little unfair. Yes, it was over ten years ago but they played Knebworth. Has Radiohead done that? They sold out MSG here in less than two hours and that was 2005. Is that third rate pub rock? Oasis aren't reinventing the wheel but at least they're honest. Radiohead is the typical liberal, "I'm gooing to save the world with my music" moronic gobshite. They are REM with a different accent.

U2's Bono: 'Radiohead were courageous for 'In Rainbows' release'

Singer rejects manager's claim that download 'backfired'

Tue 24 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

This is Bono having his cake and eating it too; pure and simple. By "disagreeing" with McGuiness, he shows he's sensitive to what Radiohead was trying to do yet he says nothing as to what he feels about "pay what you want". Granted, the rest of the article is not available yet but I am willing to wager this is a fair summary of what's left. He calls Radiohead a "sacred talent". The only thing sacred to U2 is the almighty dollar/euro/etc.

Coldplay: ''Viva La Vida' not copied from Brooklyn band'

Mon 16 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

I am not a big Coldplay fan and I hate the whole self-deprecating bit Martin does on stage, but I have to agree this is much ado about nothing. Music is ripped from artists all the time, big and small. It would be a shame though if he did steal this melody from some poor bastard recording in his beroom.

Kaiser Chiefs Ricky Wilson: 'Oasis have disappeared up their own arse'

Singer says his band are ready to replace legends

Sat 31 May, 2008

Comments (1)

Laughable. "I predict a riot" is their only quality tune. While Oasis have faded somewhat, they still have a cult following. Will the Kaiser Chiefs sell out MSG twelve years after their inception? Don't think so. I hope the lads don't waste their time responding to this twat.
