Jess-a, you and Mr.Monobrow both make good points. I am from Manchester as it happens but I agree that there are loads of undiscovered bands out there that have tonnes more talent than Oasis, the sad thing is that most of them will never be found. In Oasis's defence though I agree with Mr.Monobrow, they must be doing something right to last as long as they have. To critercise their talent would be ridiculous. Very very few brand new bands these days will be able to do the same.

bcwelsh76, you do realise that Noel's 'Lennon' quote was done on purpose don't you? Noel often jokes around and takes the piss during interviews and this is another classic example. I agree with jonny_will's Oasis comment. They always have at least 3 top tracks on every album, and seen to be improving slowly from the slump they suffered with Heather chemistry and Dont Believe The Truth. And as for those who are saying they haven't done a good album since Morning Glory.. What a load of rubbish. Be Here Now is absolutely brilliant. People are quick to jump on the bandwagon and critercise it for no good reason. There literally isn't a bad song on the album. Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants is a fine album too, very underrated.

No Jay-Z, you are not a "fuckin' rock star", you are in fact a talentless knob who only wishes he could be as good as MC Hammer.
