I donât understand this âGet everyone else to play and write the musicâ thing that you mentioned. If this were true it would say so on the album sleeves. I can only assume you have some personal vendetta against the individual members of Massive Attack for some weird reason because there really is no justification to talk down about their music or their songwriting abilities. They have never done a bad record; literally everything they have ever done is pure quality. I think you just need to accept that Del Naja and Grant Marshall write the music and lyrics. Itâs a fact, not a matter of opinion. I find it strange that in this day and age of such incomprehensibly terrible âmusicâ from shite-merchants such as The Ting Tings, Wombats, Hoosiers, Kaiser Chiefs, The Twang, Razorlight etc etc etc, that you can criticize Massive Attack!! We need more bands like them.

"haven't put out a decent record since Blue Lines" - Are you serious? You really think they only did one good album? As genius as Blue Lines and Protection are (both definite 10/10 albums without a shadow of a doubt), Mezzanine is easily the best thing they ever did. To be honest, they have never put out a bad record, even 100th Window (which bizzarely got some negative reviews) is head & shoulders above most oput from other bands these days. The reason 3D gets the credit he does is simply because he (along with Daddy G) writes the songs, always has done, obviously they get input from others but the main core of MA has always been them two. To suggest 3D isn't talented is ludicrous. I for one am really looking forward to the new record. From hearing the new tracks released with the best of.. from a few years ago its shaping up to be another classic.
