Noel Gallagher reveals why he quit Oasis

Guitarist releases full statement blaming 'lack of support from management and bandmates' for departure

Sat 29 Aug, 2009

Liam will continue with Oasis on his own. He will write the best songs he's ever written cos without Oasis he is nothing. He has to deliver, and Oasis will still be succesful.Noel is basically the next Paul Weller. It's going to be interesting.I love Oasis and am deeply saddened, but not surprised.

Mark Ronson names his 100 favourite bands for Kaiser Chiefs

Kaisers feature in it along with T-Rex, Jamie T and Blur

I notice the distinct lack of Oasis in that list... Hmmmm... Could that perhaps be anything to with the fact that Noel publicly slated him in Radio 1 that time? And who the fuck is Mr. Ronson to cast his opinion onto the masses anyway? I wouldn't say the guy's talentless, but he is a complete arse bandit.

Alexandra Burke wins 'The X Factor'

Singer will release cover of Leonard Cohen classic in time for Christmas

Sat 13 Dec, 2008

Comments (1)

Sorry to be a complete nerdazoid guys, but the song actually belongs to neither of them. It was originally written and recorded by Leonar Cohen.Although Buckley's version is a far superior rendition, and justifiably made the song what it is today. As for X-factor and all it's about, I hope it ends before they ruin music for the future generations. Poisonous.

Oasis' Noel Gallagher slams 'The X Factor'

'Danni Minogue wouldn't know talent if it kicked her in the arse'

Tue 14 Oct, 2008

you fucking idiots, of course people CARE what noel says, look at how many comments his views and opinions draw around the world. and this is just NME.com, so of course people care.whether or not they agree with him is another matter, but he's relevant, oasis are and will be relevant for the foreseeable future, and dannii minogue will no-doubt not be having her contract renewed for next season Shite-factor competition.

Fans react to Jay-Z Glastonbury headline announcement

How has the news gone down with music fans across the world?

Mon 04 Feb, 2008

Comments (1)

This is history. In the making. Jay-Z will bring a fresh flavour. It shows that Michael Eavis is moving with the times and trends in popular music, I personally can't wait. Jay-z is a lover of rock music too. Look at his track record. Don't be anxious glasto fans, this is not your average rapper. He is as important as 2Pac or biggie. And it's got nothing to do with him being black or underground, the man has a brain. "I'm from rags to riches n***as i aint dumb"... Truzzzzzzzzzzzz me
