The promoters really managed to cock this one up. I realised when I saw the line-up times that people who wanted to see both Peter and Carl may not be able to, and that to guarantee seeing at least one of them you'd have to stay at the venue they were playing at most of the day. I only got to see Carl in the end - I couldn't get in to see Peter. At one point I discovered that the venue I was in had let some people in who didn't have official tickets or passes. I thought this was very unfair when I saw the number of people clamouring outside because they couldn't get in.Also, The Monarch was not set up for the crowd Carl attracted - I was one of people who ended up on the stage getting trampled. The sound guy ran over and very kindly helped me up. The security guards when they arrived were not as good - when I got knocked over again on to the stage they shoved me back into the crowd (I am a petite, short girl!) where I just kept getting trampled on again and then was sent flying back towards the guard standing on the stage - it was like playing human ping-pong!Saying that it was awesome seeing Carl but I wish I'd been able to see both of them.
