Supergrass man helps out Foo Fighters at The Who tribute

Dave Grohl taps Gaz Coombes after falling ill

Mon 14 Jul, 2008

Gaz sang with the Foos, but Grohl was still there. If that bit about the police escort is true, I'm absolutely appalled the City of Los Angeles would agree to that. Surely Supergrass fan Steven Spielberg has a spare helicopter he could have loaned the band to get their singer across town.

Led Zeppelin to tour in 2009?

Jimmy Page hints at more shows again

Wed 18 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

No, Jimmy. You're not going to persuade Robert to do anything. You're just going to mention that he's the reason the tour might not happen every goddamn day in the press so the fans know it would happen if not for Percy. You're doing this through the goodness of your heart, of course.

Pink Floyd shunned by Glastonbury? - Tabloid Hell

Eavis says no to Gilmour's offer to perform this year

Mon 02 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

Take the story itself with a grain of salt. The Sun has listed "a source," reporting nearly as unconscionable as the NME not only repeating it, but attempting to make an even bigger deal of it than the story warrants. The headline says "Pink Floyd shunned," but the story goes on to say it's David Gilmour. The addition of a photograph of Pink Floyd pre-Gilmour makes the whole thing even more absurd.

"The album features previously unreleased live recordings from the duo’s US tour in November 1969" While it's safe to assume the duo in question is Simon & Garfunkel, actually mentioning their name would be helpful.

Beyonce and Foo Fighters WILL be at Grammys

Stars say they're definitely showing up

Fri 18 Jan, 2008

I have to say, I'm not terribly surprised that Beyonce would go against the wishes of the Screen Actor's Guild for the sake of her own career. She's a nasty, money-grubbing piece of work, and I hope she's frozen out of Hollywood from here on in. I am, however, disappointed that the Foo Fighters would still go ahead. Their lame excuse is a sham - If they really wanted to support young musicians, as with the My Grammy Moment contest, they could take them out on tour with them. I love Dave Grohl, but I think he's making a huge mistake.

Coachella heading east this year?

Report says it's bound for the tri-state area

moviegurl16 - If you'd read anything beyond the headline, you'd have realized they were talking about an additional festival, not ditching California for New York. You could have spared us all the opening Will Smith salvo.

Yes, by charging $100 for a shitty t-shirt Varvatos will definitely be honoring the legacy of CBGB.
