Raging Liam Gallagher hits out at fan during Oasis' London gig

Gallagher calls audience member a 'fat boy' and 'fucking student'

Wed 22 Jul, 2009

Comments (1)

Hammerinho and Seamonkey, it's people like you that are the morons as you're hatred of oasis and needless moronic rants immitate the behaviour of Liam. Also you idiots keep Oasis the biggest and most relevant band by constantly slating them. I'd imagine the two of you sit in your rooms wanking over Bloc Party listening to La Roux, who are both fucking bland. Piss throwing is disgusting but I'd rather be at gig having piss thrown at me than go to an orderly crowd of librarians and jack penate fans. How anyone can say oasis are irrelevant now is beyond me as that's the same as saying the beatles, rolling stones, gene vincent, little richard and the velvet underground are irrelevant. The fact is we wouldn't have had the Libertines if it wasn't for Oasis, check out Pete's interview on youtube buying the Be Here Now album or Carl Barat on Soccer Am telling Noel how he inspired him (even if Carl was smashed off his face).Neither of you two would be hard enough to maul Liam Gallagher and neither would yous be hard enough to maul me and I'm not particularly hard. Get back to listening to La Roux and Cock Party you boring trend following bastards.

Mr Haines it is time you fuck right off again back into obscurity. You sad little younger looking version of Jigsaw from the Saw movies, if they are that shit then why do you feel you have to slag them off to gain PR? You call Blur "habitual bandwagon jumpers" but you are indeed yourself jumping on the bandwagon of slagging of popular bands in order to try and sell your own stuff. At the end of the day Blur, Oasis and Radiohead will live far longer in the memory than your shitty band will you Jigsaw lookalike

Beyonce to follow Jay-Z and play Glastonbury 2009?

Singer wants to follow in husband footsteps at British Festival

Tue 11 Nov, 2008

Comments (1)

Indiewriter you cannot say that people who don't want rap music at Glastonbury are probably racist, you probably work for the government though you left wing c***. If I want a burger in a restaurant i don't want a chicken caesar salad brought across with it, i want chips. It is totally hypocritical to call people who don't like rap music as being narrow minded and probably racist. You yourself are being narrow minded and judgemental by making that statement which makes you sound like you're talking shite (which you are). I don't like classical music and I don't like the Kaiser Chiefs or Bloc Party, but you probably think I'm racist for not liking Bloc Party because the lead singer is black which is incorrect because I think Jimi Hendrix is a legend, I love artists such as Al Green & BB King and I think it's encouraging that America now have a black president.Too much of this diversity is forced on British citiizens and it is this forced diversity that causes so much tension. I am personally all for living in a diverse society but when it's forced upon the public it causes tensions and this is what is the underlying problem in Britain today. It is people like IndieWriter who cause problems by branding people being racist for disliking a music genre dominated by black and asian artists. Rap music is a totally different genre, Rihanna sounds nothing like The Strokes and while people are perfectly entitled to like both if you go to Glastonbury you expect a predominately indie festival with headline acts from the appropriate genres. So to summarise IndieWriter I couldn't disagree with your comments more wholeheartedly than I do and just like I would say to Jay Z, Beyonce or Eminem at Glasto should the lefty loving Eavis's decide to get them along, you can f**k off with your stupid comments. Good day to all at NME and the readership.

Sun 12 Oct, 2008

Lol if this isn't a glowing endorsement to vote for McCain I don't know what is. But it is worrying that celebrities are being brought into the political forum because people who buy pop music are idiots, not my opinion it is actually fact, that they are of lower intelligence than those who appreciate and prefer guitar based music.I worry however that this trend will continue in Britain, I remember cringing even as a young lad when my hero at the time Noel Gallagher was promoting New Labour, I dread to think what will happen at the next election when Brown and Cameron are brining out X Factor losers to encourage people to vote for their party of choice. But back to Madonna I wonder if anyone would be interested in setting up a fund for madonna to just f**k right off, she's a commercial whore so I'm sure for the right price we could send her somewhere far far away where we would never have to hear from her again. And by the way Madge, any woman of your age who dresses the way you do just looks like a cheap, trampy old slag. Mark Ronson lashes out at Noel Gallagher

Producer hits back at Oasis leader over 'three chords' comment

Sun 17 Aug, 2008

Comments (1)

Ronson's an out and out c*nt and at the end of the day there is no denying that. Oasis are still a massive band and will continue to be, much like the Rolling Stones and The Who. What the hell does Mark Ronson do other than ruin peoples songs? I saw Ronson on the Friday/Sunday Night Project and he came across as a c*ck on that too. Jumped up little rich boy, born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Wasn't good enough to write his own tunes even though mummy and daddy had paid for all his music lessons and bought him guitars, pianos, drums etc. Anybody remember oooh wee? Yes that's also Mark Ronson - brilliant eh? Genre jumping joke that he is. Is that another band wagon over there for Ronson to jump on?At the end of the day Ronson is no better than manufactured pop as all he does is take someone elses song and errr outputs someone elses song. Like the great man Isaac Hayes would have said he can suck on my chocolate salty balls.

'Nearly 100 per cent of music fans copy music illegally'

Poll reveals fans' downloading and copying habits

Tue 17 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

Unfortunately a lot of music companies do themselves no favours with fans with this sort of nonsense. Okay people download music illegally and share it illegally but they spent years robbing music fans before music sharing became a 'big issue'.But who gets this information? How many of these downloads are of pre-releases or live versions/remixes etc? The music industry also does itself no favours with 'proper music fans' when they pay stars like robbie williams and westlife huge amounts and then plead poverty. Look at how much it costs to go to a gig these days - £50 to see the foo fighters, oasis, metallica to name a few. Then by the time you pay for a hotel (cos they only play big cities) travel, t-shirts, food and drink you've spent £200 going to see them, so pardon these kids nicking a few tracks which they could have taped off the radio anyway. Do they consider the positive impact of downloading music for free? How many people (like myself) have downloaded someone like the libertines many moons ago and subsequently bought their singles, albums, ep, babyshambles and dirty pretty things album and singles, gone to see them about 12 times live and bought t-shirts, etc? I'm in a fortunate position now i'm a bit older where I can afford to buy albums, cds, downloads (owning the cd is much better). If they spent more time trying to diversify their product range and offer a better service to fans including things like interaction with the fans then maybe the kids would be less inclined to pinch tracks. But if you ask a group of kids how many kids have stolen something, you can't tell me nearly every kid would say as they've nicked some sweets from a sweet shop or something like that.....These are also the record companies who constantly refuse to do anything about ticket touts as well which quite frankly makes me not care one bit about whether someone pinches music or not. Football clubs ban ticket sales (ok thats because of the threat of hooligans getting in) but it shows that they can be stopped so until the companies start trying to look after the fans the kids are always going to stick two fingers up at the record companies and fair play to them.

Coldplay album set to top UK chart

'Viva La Vida..' trounces rivals - despite being out for just a day

Fri 13 Jun, 2008

Comments (1)

At the end of the day there's no denying that Coldplay are a good band, okay they're a bit annoying but anybody who doesn't think that Violet Hill is better than anything written by Kate Nash, Jack Penate, Jamie T and the Klaxons and the rest of the rubbish new wave of 'indie schmindies' is a complete moron. Coldplay make me very good easy listening music and while i wouldn't particularly want to hear a coldplay album on a night out there's a defnite genre for them and they are the Kings of Easy Listening. I'm sure if Chris Martin was a smackhead like Mr Doherty and Ms Winehouse (and many others) then he too would be a tortured genius. Don't get me wrong I think Doherty and Winehouse on form are great but sadly their lifestyles have an adverse effect on their output. Funny how people hate professionalism.....But in fairness rather than bitching about music the best thing to do if you don't like it then don't buy it and listen to itm it's quite simple then everyone can get on with their lives and we can all live happily ever after :o)

Jay-Z hits back at Noel Gallagher in Glasto row

'We have to respect each other' says the Glastonbury headliner

Tue 13 May, 2008

Comments (1)

I think Jay Z kinda missed the point about Noel's comment. Jay Z is fine to play at some music festivals but not Glastonbury, I'm thinking something like V which has a bit more of a broad appeal but its like inviting Girls Aloud to play at Download, it's an absolute joke. It's nothing to do about not respecting the genre, Jay Z is obviously up there at the top for what he does it's just that there's a place and a time for everthing (and headlining Glastonbury isn't it)and I think Eavis has got this one badly wrong and its the final nail in the coffin for glastonbury as we know it. They should have went down the sensible route of dedicating a stage or a stage for a day to hip hop or something but to randomly just stick him on the bill is plain stupid. Next year maybe they'll have the Spice Girls, N'Sync, Mcfly, Scouting for girls and Justin Timberlake & Timbaland all up on the main stage!! Thankfully the good people at Carling would never let this happen at Reading or Leeds.......I hope!!!
