I went to the MEN Blur gig on Friday and they were mind blowingly good - far better than when I saw them as a 14 year old in 1995. They didn't appear as good on TV at Glasto but I think it was because of the disjointed way the TV coverage was done - constantly cutting out and then going back to them. I'm not sure why the band wanted them to do that, people going to Hyde Park know what to expect now as it's been widely reported so it's not really kept anything back as surprise.I'm delighted they're back better than ever, even if it is only for a quick "pay the tax bill" few months.
