i'm not old enough to have taken the clash completely to heart. i can forgive them a couple of crap lps for a career that mirrored my life and gave me heart. a storming come back this year. they still speak for the dispirited, disposessed, disenfranchised. more than most hackneyed old soaks manage. not happy to hear them talk about profit and loss but that's the terrain they move in. just think what might have been had richy held it together to continue attacking the liberal consensus.
