Neon Indian

Neon Indian is a band from Austin, Texas and Brooklyn, New York. The duo's music is primarily composed by Alan Palomo, also known for his work with the band Ghosthustler and as the artist VEGA. The band's other member is video artist Alicia Scardetta, who provides visuals to accompany the music.

The band began to garner considerable attention in 2009 after posting several songs on the Internet that were reviewed by music blogs and Web sites. On October 13, 2009, the group released Psychic Chasms, its debut LP. The album was designated Best New Music by influential music Web site Pitchfork.

Alan Palomo plans to work on a VEGA album in the near future.
