Spleen United Biography

Spleen United is a Danish electro-rock band. The band consists of the brothers Bjarke and Gaute Niemann, Kasper N?rlund, Rune Wehner and Janus Nevel Ringsted. The band was formed in Arhus, Denmark in 2002. Their first live performance was at Arhus musical festival Spot 09 in 2003.

The band's debut album Godspeed into the Mainstream was released in 2006. Their second album Neanderthal and was released on January 21 2008. The singles were (in order) "My Tribe", "Suburbia", "66", and "Failure 1977".

In early 2008, drummer Jens Kinch left the band to concentrate on fatherhood. He was replaced by Janus Nevel Ringsted.
