SURGERY Biography

Hip Parade are a British pop band from Glasgow, Scotland, who formed in 2004. They featured in the Channel 4 show Orange Unsigned Act. The band were the runners up, losing to fellow Scotsman Tommy Reilly.

The band followed their TV showcase with a UK tour and the release of their debut single. This was then followed by another UK tour in support of fellow Scots The Cinematics. The band have continued to play shows in Scotland including two sell out shows in Glasgow's famous King Tut's Wah Wah Hut and The Classic Grand. Hip Parade made their debut festival appearance playing on the T-Break Stage at T in The Park They also headlined the Freedom Stage at The Wizard Festival. 2009.
