The Cure - Lovesong: Wikipedia Album Entry
Lovesong is the third single from The Cure's eighth studio album Disintegration in 1989. The single peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Robert Smith originally wrote the song for his long-time girlfriend and then fiancée, Mary, as a wedding present. It is a noted departure from the rest of the Disintegration songs.
