The Pale Biography

The Pale Pacific (formerly The Pale) is an indie rock/powerpop band based in Seattle and Bellingham, Washington, currently on the SideCho label. Members include frontman Gabe Archer on lead vocals, keyboard, and guitar, Gabe's cousin Cameron "Cam" Nicklaus on guitar, Justin Harcus on bass, and Greg Swinehart on drums and background vocals. For a number of reasons, the band plays shows few and far between. Gabe, Cam, and Greg are now married and Cameron has gone into the recording business.

In July 2008, the band announced that they have been writing songs and plan to begin recording for a new album by the end of September.
