A no-holds-barred romp through six decades of rock 'n' roll excess.

History is made once more as NME presents the kind of bill money cannot buy. The Rolling Stones, The Small Faces, The Yardbirds, The Who, Spencer Davies, Cliff And The Shadows, Roy Orbison, The Walker Brothers, Herman's Hermits and what is to be the final UK concert appearance of The Beatles, dressed head to toe in black. During 'I Feel Fine', ‘the screams seemed to reach the kind of level that only dogs and A&R man could hear’, apparently.

Presenter: Jimmy Saville
