Dear Mr Ertegun, Sitting here by myself in Jakarta, just watched your boys perform "Whole Lotta Love" on UTube and I cried. The sound understandably was terrible, but what I felt was the same as what I had felt the first time I heard the song when I was 13. This is the heaviest thing I have ever heard and still is and I am 46. Well I had not heard "When The Levee Breaks" at that stage but soon would. My God, all you doubters and lovers of mediocrity, if you could be half as good, you would still be great. Future generations will reflect and treat Mr's Page, Plant,Jones and Bohnam's with the respect that is shown to the Mozarts and Beethovens. Why? Because classical music is timeless and genderless. Thank you Mr Ertegun and of course the boys in the band.

I still can't beleive it! Led Zeppelin have done a show and I wasn't there I wasn't even in the same country god damn it! And all i can hear OMG OMG Led Zeppelin on the news, in the papers, on the radio, on the web and i shit you not Alice Cooper just started playing Rock and Roll on the radio as i was typing this. Well it certainly had been a long time been a long time been a long lonely lonely lonely lonely lonely time since the boys played together but from what I've seen and heard it was a top-notch performance and they can't leave me and a billion others watching shitty little clips on you tube.I was born in 1991 so obviously i've never got chance to see Led Zeppelin live before and never expected to, but hopefully this "one-off" gig turns into a "one-off" world tour into a "one-off" brand new studio album! Which by the way they better bring out a dvd of this gig. And a live cd. And i want the shirt as well. With a hat to go with it. And a fridge magnet. Maybe even "Led Zeppelin - The Fragrance"...

Sorry, but without Bonzo, it's not Led Zeppelin, IMO.

Led Zeppelin rules. Sorry to those who thought they were buried. Not yet man. They still have the right mix of abandonment, passion, and discipline. When they play, Dionysus makes his visitation. The only way to go beyond Led Zeppelin is to go through the journey with them, and even then, there is still more to learn.

I remember sitting up so fast on my bed when i herd the news on my radio about john bohnam. I looked at my tickets not far from the radio thinking that there will never be a chance to ever see them again. I was not one to get a ticket on line (just not lucky) but i would like to thank my heroes and the ones who posted the videos. I personally don't know my heroes (wish i did) but when john died a part of me did too and I hurt also. now with this reunion I can only hope they tour for a while so I can go back and live a lifetime of memories. there friend, frank

"Sitting here by myself in Jakarta, just watched your boys perform "Whole Lotta Love" on UTube and I cried. " I hear ya! I am in the USA, & felt the same way when I heard these songs. I cried too when I heard Stairway to Heaven. I remember the first time I heard the song, I was 14, & walking in a Hike for Hunger in Chicago in 1972 (there was a band at the end). It brought back memories of all the old friends & fun I had back then! A big thank you to all who posted on You Tube for these memories! Wish LZ would do a tour & I could get tickets...

Honestly.. no joke.. I think.. I may cry. They are still absolutely amazing. Pray God, let them come to Toronto and that I might score a ticket. Barring that, I can't wait for the DVD. These guys surpass status of stars and legends.. they truly are, Rock Gods.

What is it about these guys and this music that can bring grown men to tears? Why, at the mere mention of Zep, do we snap our heads around like someone fired a gun, just so we don't miss a word that is about to be said? Like millions of people, I could not be at the show last night, but all day I had this anxiety feeling like I was going to explode; just knowing that the monster was rising again. I saw Zep in 1977 on John's Bonham's birthday. Never got over it. Hope I never do. Could it be that we all need them in our lives this much? Could be. Maybe we are all just very happy to see some old friends again. You know, like when you think someone is gone forever and then one day realize they have "come home." It has been said before. If you could explain it, then it would not be what it is. Let's all hope our friends have come home to stay awhile. Just let us know where you are guys. We will get there one way or another. Thank you all who posted the videos. 48 years old with eyes full of tears. That's when you know you are truly happy. Congrats to everyone who saw the show. You are the envy of us all.

Totally badass. The clip for Kashmir really says more than my words ever could. Jesus what a great song, and Jason pounding out that beat just like his old man. They have proved once again why they were the greatest live band of all time. I am dying for someone to post a clip of For Your Life. I want a tour as badly as anyone, but if this is truly their last show then they really did go out on top. Timeless music that sounds like it was cut yesterday. Nobody rocks this hard.
Chris (42) and Jonathan (8) [Visitor] //December 11 2007 at 19:38
Loving the clips. Jason is on the ball on the Vistalites and at one point during Kashmir I'm sure I saw Robert actually shrug off thirty years and dance like a faun across the stage. (Chris) Reminds me of a tribute band I saw with my dad a few months ago. But better. (Jonathan)

This was some awesome stuff. Takes me back to seeing them at the Pontiac Silverdome in 1977 ... for the previously unheard of price of $10.50. We took 2 days off school and waited 2 nights in line. I told my wife I'm saving my pennies for the tour and keeping my fingers crossed

Seeing this just renforces my beliefs that the state of music today is full of lame, manufactured crap thats not even music. My hope is that curious kids will see these on Youtube & be blown away as we were the first time we heard it as teens. There may be hope for future generations of musicians to wake up & rock. Real rock music.

Hey guys. Sorry for everyone who missed out on it last night, trust me I was very down about not getting a ticket until I got the email mid November, I guess I was one of the lucky ones to get the reallocated tickets after the postponement. Went with my father who along with my mother is the reason i listen to Zeppelin, grew up listening to them from a very young age. The concert was amazing, in particular the dazed and confused solo with the violin bow, i can't believe after seeing that on videos/dvds i saw that live :D Jason bonham was amazing btw, he was spot on the entire show. So i have the sleep deprivation (i live in Manchester and had to travel back the same night for work the next day) and I have the memories, programme and my ticket that will never leave me and i now can say i am one of the lucky young men of this world (23yrs old) to have seen Zeppelin.

i waited in the cold for hours outside the 02 last night just to hear a whisper of led zeppelin. There where people going out of the concert to hav cigarettes. how ungrateful. Zeppelin needs to giv the true fans a chance to seem them. Not just the rich and celebs i saw going last night. If any one deserves a chance to see them on tour its us the true fans

We can die in peace. Led Zeppelin played like in The Song Remains the Same, like those good times when the dragons ruled the earth. I took a beer, i took a joint and paid attention to the melody of the gods of Rock. I am lost in Germany, and dont even was born here, but when i came the first thing i was stepping was the Olympia Halle in Munich and i was wondering: Could ever happen that Led Zeppelin is comming back to this lands? that Led Zeppelin is playing again in this Hall? and i was feeling blesed to place a foot in this place, where Zeppelin was playing once. And now, i am only waiting to the return, the return of the King, the King of the four simbols.

I am in Sydney Australia and would like to thank those who posted these clips on UTube and for NME for providing them. I am only 37 years old & obviously wasn't born when Led Zeppelin were at their peak - however watching and hearing these clips (the sound is poor but hey that's how it goes with clips) sent chills up & down my spine. They are still powerful and masters at their craft. These people shapped music. Nothing was the same after 1969 and their entry. Those who don't believe they are any good have no real knowledge or appreciation of music. I hope they tour and make to Australia. If the reports are true and the band were moved emotionally then anything is possible.

A Big "thank you" from you guys, having checked out the sites before the concert and the anticipation and expectations were very high from a fans perspective, it was excellent that you covered the concert track by track and gave us fans "front row" on our computer so we could "visualise" in our own minds what was happening on stage. Much apprecaited.

John Stephanski-TEARWAVES drummer [Visitor] //December 11 2007 at 23:05
I was searching all over the net to find videos from the show at 02 Arena on 12-10-2007. Well, I found the Holy Grail here. I watched Kashmir first and watched Jonsey and Jimmy take command musically and watched Jason Bonham with anticipation of him hitting that ending crescendo like his father, John Bonham did so many years ago. He pounded the tar out of those drums at the end of Kashmir and gave the gong a good back punch ! I just burst into tears watching it with my young sons - 10 and 13 years old watching, as they know much about music. Then I'm looking around for a video of For Your Life, which Led Zeppelin never played live - couldn't find it. So I started reading stories and posts written and started weeping again. I just can't control myself. John Henry Bonham made the biggest influence on drummers that came after him - he taught us how to pound the living shit out drums and he packed a wallop - he changed rock and roll drummers and loud sounds of bass drums on recordings for all of us. There is no replacement for Bonzo, but I'd only enjoy seeing Jason play with Robert, John and Jimmy. Please come to Buffalo, NY. I'd love to see them play "In the Light" - "Carouselembra" - "Fool in the Rain" which they never played live. Thanks for reading, John Stephanski TEARWAVES drummer

The one and only time I saw these guys was at Earls Court in 1974 and I was 16. I had never even heard of them and my friend dragged me there to see them, I have been IN LOVE ever since. That summer I spent 6 weeks working myself to death in a part time job so I could get a plane fare to montreaux where Jimmy was living at the time and be a groupie - but my parents never let me go - bought all their albums, but never got the chance to see them again. Please guys tour one more time, please Robert, you share so much of yourselves and your souls and your love on that stage when you play for your fans - I was smitten and so were and will be millions of others the song will never be the same when you guys are gone

The Mothership has landed! Led Zeppelin, the mightiest & most thunderous band in rockdom and in music history, showed the world on Dec. 10th 2007 why they will live in the hearts of millions & millions of people, forever in time. Jimmy Page (dig the silver hair) is truly the mystical wizard, warlock of the guitar. His riffs are the thunderbolts of the gods. Robert Plants wails & moans are truly spine tingling. The rythem section of Bonham & Jones is still second to none. You know old Bonzo in heaven was smiling big. You know ,the band Kiss is always bragging that when they play live, there showing the bands of today how the big boys do it. Well Kiss, the big boys played at the O2 Arena on Dec. 10th 2007. Kiss, your just a microscopic piece of dust compared to the immortal Zeppelin. Long live the Hammer of the Gods, the mighty Led Zeppelin.

Dear Robert, Jimmy, John PJ & Jason. Simply awesome, just a pity I live in Australia and travelling in the US...god I wish I had been there... The work you must have put into this show all the way from the music to the production is fantastic. Drop "For Your life"....on the next one, if there is to be a next one...?? and "nail all" of these modern day "rock stars" and the current music industry (Oasis,Dave Grohl, Idol TV etc etc) with "When the levee breaks". I hear Australia is quite a nice country to tour in....around Febuary 2008 in Sydney apparently... Simon.

Age means nothing where music is concerned. There will be more than oneincredible album int here if someone can persuade them to write and record it.From the clips I have seen JB is the business and he has every right to replace his dad. Got "Houses of the Holy" for Christmas when I was 11 in '78 from my brother. I thought to myself.."what the hell is this with naked children on the cover?" Once I listened to it I was captivated and instantly hooked! I was hypnotized by "No Quarter" and felt incredible love and warmth from "The Rain Song". Imagine! My musical interests were just starting to be formed but by chance, I was fortunate enough to start out with(with no question)the greatest and most magical rock band ever. Was very sad not to be able to attend this "reunion concert of a lifetime"...please God, make a tour a reality!

Toronto 2008? We in Canada would love to get the Led out too!
real zeppelin fan [Visitor] //December 12 2007 at 16:44
how is it right that every single journalist and band member managed to get to the show? tickets obviously weren't ballot only, and this show is a complete sell out i'm sorry, but surely there's a million people out there who deserve a ticket more than kate moss, who would remortgage their houses for christs sake this is just terrible
Russell [Visitor] //December 12 2007 at 16:45
was lucky enough to get a ticket - last saw them at Knebworth in 1979 - but Monday was better !

i have been a Led Zeppelin lover since 1977 and was lucky enough to see the two gigs that they did at Knebworth on the 4-8-79 and 11-8-79 which was the greatest gig i have ever seen and the memories of those concerts still remain fresh in my mind. i was gutted not to get tickets for the O2 gig (like millions of others) but hopefully i will get to see them again when they do a world tour next year.

I have always given different types of music a chance and at the age of 47 have even started to dig some of the new stuff. After watching the clips of the show I am now Dazed And Confused, and as before nothing compares or even comes close to these Legends. I guess I will have to start over. Lets hit the road boys.

Sadly, Warner Bros is having these clips taken down one by one. It is tragic that we who could not see them live, now can't even see them in a tiny video window. Does WB really think that these grainy videos threaten their obvious plan to profit from selling a future DVD of the show? How pathetic and greed filled their lives must be.

Ben, Your crazy, but I agree with you. I'd probably miss an exam for Zeppelin to. and, they are coming. Save up some cash though, tickets could be higher than the Stones. -Ron

All I can say is I hope they come to New York to play The Garden. They could sell out 20 shows with no trouble.

Shame on Warner music for pulling the videos off of YouTube! Free publicity like that cannot be bought. Dumb asses!
Annelouise [Visitor] //December 13 2007 at 04:32

I was 15 in the fall of 69 and my ears caught the opening riff of Whole Lotta Love and I've been hooked on Zep since. Saw them in Sept 71 in T.O. for $4 , can you believe that? Now I;m ready to pay 100 times that for a ticket . Please tour. Zep rules!

Most of these videos have been pulled off of YouTube. Methinks the people in charge don't want anyone who couldn't be there to see these videos until a DVD is released or something.

When I see how rejuvenated Robert is, when I see Jimmy smiling like a school boy, it does make me feel teary-eyed. The site of Zoso on a Marshall cabinet is like a bekon of hope. Thank God they realized that life's too short to pass things by. Bonzo's up there smiling, taking a great big whiskey to us all!

For those unfortunate enough to watch it live or even see the YouTube videos, Dailymotion.com has several links including Stairway to Heaven, Blackdog, Good Times Bad Times and more. Just search for Led Zeppelin and sort on the most recent.

Saw them in February 1972 at Sydney Showground; they were great at that time and they are even greater now. Remember what it was like in Sydney back then; little if no security, only a few dollars to get in, a basic stage with no screens or special effects. Only the raw performance of the 'Worlds Most Influential Band'. When the concert started the crowd leapt over the fence and milled directly in front of the stage, mesmorised by the opening number; "The Immigrant Song". Robert Plant had to plead with the crowd to sit down so that they could continue. Would have loved to have been at the London concert. The clips off u Tube are fantastic for those like me that could not attend. As said lets hope for a World Tour. 'Guys make sure you include Telstra Stadium, Sydney, Australia on the itinery. This was the main location for the 2000 Olympics and is an exceptional venue. We have had the Stones, U2 and will have Police in January 2008. You will surpass all of these other legends and blast the 'roof off'. 'We await your long awaited return to our shores. See you soon'.

I JUST READ PLANT'S TOURING WITH KRAUS IN MAY. EVERYTHING CONSIDERED IT'S A SELFISH ACT INDEED. IT COMES AS NO SURPRISE HOWEVER.

I am soon to be 46 years old, i grew up listening to Led Zeppelin. They were my moms favorite group along with my brother we love Led Zeppelin, i just wish my mom was still living to see them together again it is a dream come true. There was no way i could have been able to see them in London so i sure am thankful for the videos and i live in a small town in Georgia, south Georgia and i have lost the sight in my left eye and my right eye don't have but 5% vision left so i hope and pray that my brother and sisters can come up with a way that i can see them on there tour any they sound just as good today as they did back then and they just showed everybody who the real band is LED ZEPPELIN. Love you guys Jimmy, Robert JPJ and Boham kathy
