Held on the huge Suvilahti site close to central Helsinki, Finland, Flow Festival (August 12-14) boasts one of the best line-ups of the summer – with the iconic likes of Iggy Pop sharing a bill with pop queen Sia.

It’s more than just the music though. Flow is a haven for the arts buff too. Curated in collaboration with the University of the Arts Helsinki, Flow presents an array of specially commissioned pieces by the country’s top artists that are dotted around the festival.

Combining up and coming Finnish talent with the world’s hottest bands, it’s a rare chance to catch your favourite artists and get to know a new culture. Three day tickets are still available from £154 so there really is no excuse. Here’s what you’d be missing out on.

THE BEST BANDS TO SEE AT FLOW FESTIVAL 2016

Iggy Pop
He might be on the cusp of 70, but Iggy still rocks like he did 40 years ago. A writhing ball of manic energy on stage, Pop is not one to miss.
