Last time I heard Zero 7, it was floating under palm trees in a hotel pool, preceded by a Spanish guitar version of 'Yesterday' with added soothing sea gull effects. The time before that was in a deckchair on a pier in Brighton. And therein lies the problem with the public perception of Zero 7: chillout music for unconscious absorption; coffee table Balearic bliss.
