Johnny Foreigner – ‘I’llChooseMySideAndAhutUpAlright’:
“Johnny Foreigner complete their UK October tour with an appearance at SWN Festival 2009, providing the perfect foil for their second album 'Grace And The Bigger Picture' released the following Monday 26th. This true D.I.Y. band play the Fear & Records versus Big Scary Monsters night on Friday 23rd. Here, one of our favourite Brummie bands gets remixed by the lovely Sky Larkin.”

Yr Ods – ‘City’s Heart Is Burning’

Yr Ods (yr means ‘the’) sing in Welsh and English, played Glastonbury on Emily Eavis' insistence and make indie rock sound sweeeeet in a pop molded packet of win. Stupid melodies and biting hooks make them your favourite new north Wales band. Simple.”
