With Kendrick, NAS, MF DOOM, Disclosure, Earl Sweatshirt and Madlib on his side, Bishop Nehru’s not exactly doing badly for a 19-year-old.

The eclectic New Yorker came out of the same scene as Joey Bada$$ and A$AP Mob a few years ago, but has tread a far more psychedelic route compared to them ever since. His music is diverse, unpredictable and more far-reaching than of his more boisterous ‘Class Of 2013’ peers, and today we’ve got the video from latest track ‘It’s Whateva’:

He releases a new mixtape, ‘Magic 19’, on June 3.

Speaking on the track above, Bishop Nehru said: “I’ve been learning to have fun with my music again and it’s been exciting to not only create what I feel is typically me, but what makes me happy and hyped when I hear it. I feel like experimenting with different styles is helping me grow into the artist I always wanted to be.”

‘Magic 19’ is available from BishopNehru.com on June 3, with his debut album proper to follow later in the year.
