So, the Shockwaves NME Awards 2009 are well and truly over and the entire office (plus half of the rock community, several hundred Cure fans and Sarah Harding) are nursing biblical hangovers, including we suspect this guy:

Drunkard

harry lime [Visitor] //February 27 2009 at 07:32
why is there not an award for the best solo produced album, (bedroom studio) these people have far more talent that most of your award winners and it should be recognised.
Anon [Visitor] //February 27 2009 at 14:39
Coldplay are terrible, they suck
H.A.L [Visitor] //February 28 2009 at 04:17

How the fuck did the Arctics win best DVD. Apollo was the flattest, most uninspiring concert film ever, which isn't really a surprise considering who directed it. But Otherwise, apart from Coldplay being in a certain category, I like the list. Glad to see MGMT getting some votes.

Kim Ford [Visitor] //March 2 2009 at 21:46
