About to tour our shores with the NFTU-befriended Frank Turner are Fake Problems – boat shoed, wax haired and alarmingly danceable. Starting off as just singer Chris Farren alone in the punk rock shaping tate of Florida, Fake Problems released records on Against Me!/Gaslight Anthem grass-rooted Sabot Productions. Having grown in both sound and size, Farren’s silent charm and neat wit marriage hasn’t yet seen the rocks.

Since signing to Side One Dummy, Fake Problems released April’s ‘It’s Great To Be Alive’. Taking a step up from the previous ‘How Far Our Bodies Go’, 11 tracks of vacantly captained Southern melodies are briskly delivered in unscathed brilliance. With more than just a nod to the modelled Clash, it’s the 2009 album which sits up with a stiff spine.

Trouser-pressed indie punk (as opposed to Jamie T charity shop indie punk), Farren and his troops hammer it out military style: clean, brisk and sharp. Sir.
AmIright?

Yes.

So here’s your invitation complete with FREE exclusive MP3 to come to one of the October shows with FT and have a valid excuse to dance like a twat. Dates can be found here.
