9 something in AM here in london. getting ready to head off for norwich in a bit. haven't blogged in quite some time and i think we can write a novella regarding the last few days. it's the final show of the tour tonight. bummer. standbye for further gushing as we will miss all these bands unbelievably so.

7 days since the last. I should probably be more diligent with my entries but when the choice of sitting in front of this computer or dancing the night away with our new bestest buddies ever! Then surely you can understand the leanness of our blogs.

Anyhow, things have happened. Not least the gigs: Middlesbrough, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester and Nottingham. All in that order and pleasantly enough, as the tour progresses the shows increase in stature and reaction.

a nooner is a day when the drive isn't too long so you can stay in the travelodge until noon, when the housekeeping lady kicks you out. althought we managed to ride it until 1pm which was sweet.

i'm glad it was a nooner because glasgow was a scruffy one. i woke up in our room with a massive cot (no baby in it thankfully), a large illustrated guide to britain, an extra TV set and a bottle of vodka. not sure where i got them from but they all came from somewhere within the hotel. so we had to leggit before anyone could see into the room.

the last few days...

Somewhere between Sheffield and Glasgow we stayed in a place called Harrogate on our night off. It was a pretty unanimous thought that the village was something out of willy wonka and the factory lie somewhere in the outskirts. in the end there was no wonka candy to find, but plenty of chinese buffet and local cover bands. though we did have to be rolled out of the buffet much like violet it willy wonka.

right then we're in glasgow. it's been a good ride. the shows are fun and the interband love is spreading. so far today we've done XFM and STV so now i'm looking to give HIV to PTT. and possibly some other acronym activities too.

glasgow is looking big and echo-ey and hopefully will be rammed and RIPE for the crowdsurfing which hasn't happened yet, except to davo.
