Glastonbury: Exclusive Horrors Interview
How's your Glastonbury been?
Farris: "Well, we’ve just arrived. We’ve been in America for three weeks – we went as far as San Francisco. And in typical Horrors planning style, we’ve got no waterproofs. I had to grab a stack of wellies. They’d been left outside the campsite, by people who were leaving the site, and I was ‘volunteered’ to go retrieve them. These ones seem pretty good, don’t you think?"
When are you playing?
"Sunday, in the John Peel tent. Earlier-on, we did an unanounced gig in the Queen’s Head, which went down really well. We hadn’t told anyone we were doing it, but there was a small not of hardcore fans down the front within a minute."
What are your favourite Glasto memories?
"I do remember coming here when I was 15 or 16, when we were all just youths experimenting with consciousness-altering substances."
Have you ever had sex in a tent?
"No."
What do you eat at festivals?
"I generally try not to. I medicate myself with other substances."
How do you feel about the rumoured Libertines reunion?
"I couldn’t give a fuck."
Are you gonna hang out with any of your celebrity mates while you’re here?
"We’re gutted we missed the Klaxons. In the early days, we used to play together all the time on the toilet stages of London. We’ll definitely catch up. Apart from that, we’re not liggers at all."
What’s your accommodation like?
"We’re staying a few miles from here in a hotel. It’s alright."
What’s your greatest festival nightmare?
"Probably today. We’ve been traveling by car, and we’ve already had to have it towed out of the mud three times."

Glastonbury: Exclusive Rakes Interview
How’s your Glasto been so far?
Alan Donohue: “We’ve only been here for four hours, we’ve just come over from playing in Germany. We just watched Cold War Kids, who were ace, and the Sunshine Underground they were pretty good too. I just can’t believe how muddy it is. Some people have got no manners, splashing mud everywhere. I’m not a crusty, keep out of my way, you know?”

What’s the best band you’ve seen?
Alan: “Cold War Kids. I got their album recently, and the tracks I didn’t like on record I found myself really liking live. They’ve got something else going on, something really intense.”
Have you got any tips for having sex in a tent?
Alan: “I’ve heard it’s pretty in-tents. If you can’t finds a condom, use a crisp packet. Also don’t take too many drugs and end up having sex in the dance tent.”
Jamie Hornsmith: “Don’t have sex with the tent”

Glastonbury: Exclusive Jamie T Interview
How’s your Glasto been so far?
“Muddy. I’ve only been here a little while, but I’ve just had a pint of flat beer, I’ve watched the amazing Noisettes and I feel well in the mood for it now. I’m really looking forward to my set tonight on the John Peel stage tonight, I’m well fired up for it. Have I got a couple of surprises? Yeah, of course? Am I gonna tell you? Nah, you’ll have to wait and see.”

Who’s your favourite band here?
“The Noisettes. I think they're fucking wicked man, they’re my favourite live band at the moment, they’re just so powerful. Shingai’s a fucking star - they all are.”
Are you snorting, smoking or pilling this weekend?
“Not decided, it’s a bit early in the day for me. Ask me in a few hours.”
Have you got any tips for having sex in a tent?
“First thing’s first: make sure there’s another person there to have sex with, it’d be shit on your own. And put tent at the top of a hill, you don’t want to be fucking in a puddle of mud.”
