Robyn around the world and I-I-I, I can't find my baby

18/08/07 10:14:21 pm

Well now I thought i'd write a little blog to tell all you indie no hopers to fuck off with your Killers and Kasabian and start listening to something decent, like Swedish pop sensation and current chart topper Robyn.

Without a doubt the shouldn't-she-really-be-retired-by-now-oh-no-that's-Madonna-and-Robyn's-
really-not-that-old-anyway
electro Queen has been the best thing this little word monkey has experienced all day (let's ignore for the moment the fact I've spent most of it chasing rock stars with a cut-out Brandon Flowers moustache).

continued...

To think some goons still moan there's no good pop music out there - she even re-invented her tacky decade-old No. 8 hit 'Show Me Love' as super stripped down synth sequence, to make it not sound like a Steps B-side, thus proving that without a doubt she is completely ace.

But to the DJ who played Ace Of Base as soon as she left the stage - very funny.
