The Last Shadow Puppets smashed their Pyramid Stage performance at Glastonbury. During their set they played a David Bowie cover and were on reliably dramatic form. Then, after their own set, they went out to watch Tame Impala’s pre-Adele slot, where they grooved out to the Aussie psych group’s 2015 stonker ‘The Less I Know The Better’.
You might have noticed Mr Turner’s black t-shirt, which had the slick slogan ‘GIVE A DAMN’ splayed across it. You can get them from the Deep End Club – a too-cool ethical fashion line and activism space in New York City’s East Village that was set up by Tennessee Thomas, who was formerly the drummer of indie group The Like. They were happy to see Alex repping their wares.

But if you’re interested in getting your hands on one of these $45 shorts, you’ll probably have to wait a little while, as on the Deep End Club’s online store, it’s currently sold out.
Maybe you can content yourself with one of the Deep End Club brand tees instead. You’ll be in good company, because the Deep End Club is frequented by people like Jenny Lewis and Turner’s ex Alexa Chung – who actually has the same tee as Alex. Slightly awks, to be wearing the same togs as your old flame, no? I suppose when you look this good, it doesn’t really matter.
