Latitude line-up: who will perform at the festival in 2018?

Now in its 12th year, Latitude will bring the best in music, art, theatre and comedy to Southwold from July 12-15. Check out everything we know about this year’s festival below.

Today’s latest announcement sees the likes of IAMDDB, NAO, Alex Cameron, Husky Loops, Gabrielle Aplin, Hudson Taylor, The Orielles and many more joining the music line-up, while the Comedy Arena will welcomes Alan Davies and Sandi Toksvig presenting QI Live, as well as stand-up comedy from Dyland Moran and Marcus Brigstocke among other new additions.

Meanwhile, Adam Buxton will be celebrating 10 years of his acclaimed video show Bug with Bug X, and former Labour leader Ed Miliband and Geoff Lloyd will present their award-winning hit podcast Reasons to be Cheerful.

“Latitude is my favourite festival and I am really glad I don’t have to pay for my ticket,” Geoff Lloyd, becfore Miliband added: “Latitude is a great chance to bring positive, optimistic ideas about making the country better to an engaged audience. And Geoff said we had to do it so he didn’t have to pay for his ticket.”

Friday: Solange

Why she’ll be great? In an UK exclusive, Solange will perform her first-ever headline slot at Latitude. Now over a year since she released the outstanding ‘A Seat at the Table’, she’s sure to dazzle at the weekend in Henham Park with her bold creativity and soaring neo-soul sound.

Saturday: The Killers

Why they’ll be great? Brandon and the gang are heading to Suffolk to headline Latitude for the first time, and sure to put on one of their trademarkedly huge shows. With a hefty back catalogue of absolute bangers, and fresh of their fifth consecutive number 1 album, there couldn’t be a better time to catch The Killers live.

Sunday: alt-J

Why they’ll be great? In 2012 alt-J played the Lake Stage as an up and coming act; in 2015 they headlined the Friday night. Now, six years since their first Latitude slot, they’re back to close the festival. With a possible premiere of new material, as well as all the old favourites, their headline show is sure to be unmissable.
