Here’s a handful of highlights from Day One at Reading and Leeds. First up, My Chemical Romance’s opening track on the Main Stage in Reading.
30 Seconds To Mars, meanwhile, hit the Main Stage just before MCR.
Metronomy played the now-massive NME/Radio 1 tent, which can hold thousands more people and features several screens and speakers on the outside, and brought their Ikea lights and a selection of tracks stretching right back to their early days.
And Noah & The Whale were another NME/Radio 1 Stage highlight ahead of White Lies and Beady Eye.
