What a line-up we had on Friday night, The Strokes, Elbow, James Murphy and Friendly Fires – what was your highlight? Saturday sees even more gems on the bill, and here are some music and non music-related things you should do:
1. Watch Star Slinger and Spectrals
Two of our lesser known acts you have to see at Benicassim.
2. Get on your dancing shoes
Looking at classical, modern, Spanish, Flamenco and fusion techniques – Benicassim will be playing host to young dancers and choreographers as well as world famous artists at this year’s festival. Let the professionals show you how it’s done after you threw some shocking moves to The Strokes on Friday night.
3. Catch Primal Scream
The Scottish legends bring ‘Screamadelica’ to Spain with their Benicassim show. On the Maravillas Stage.
4. Watch a film
The FIB International Short Film Festival began in 2000 as a way to promote up-and-coming film makers. Today it has become one of the most important short film festivals in Spain – support some indie directors while at Beni.
5. Watch Bombay Bicycle Club
The boys are sure to play material from their brilliant new album. On the FiberFib.com stage at 10.30pm.
