Fancy dress costumes, face paint, glitter and cleverly adapted rock 'n' roll wellies at the ready - it's 'Rock Stars, Pop Stars and Divas' day at Bestival. Here are five things you should check out in the next 12 hours, aside from the usual great music on the stages.

1. Watch the wall of death

That's right, the WALL OF DEATH. An 18 foot high cylinder which pros on vintage Indian motorcycles will attempt to ride around for your entertainment. Expect proper daredevil stunts and lots of ooo-ing and aaa-ing from the audience.

2. Get some heavenly healing

Walking around in wellies all day, lugging all your stuff from the carpark to the campsite and putting your tent up takes it out of you. Get a nice relaxing massage or chill out in the hammock circle in the Magic Meadow.

3. Go to the Block Party

New for this year, decide which block you belong to, get a costume and join in the party. Based on Brazil's Rio de Janeiro Carnival, pick your favourite blocos and get dancing!

4. Get your fancy dress on

Whether you're joining in the parade (starting at the far side of the campsite), delving into the dressing up tent and moustache and eyelash bar to make sure you're looking at your best, or walking the catwalk in the fancy dress competition - don't forget to take part in Bestival's 'Rock Stars, Pop Stars And Divas' theme this year. Plus there'll be the usual prizes for most fantastic group, individual, kid, homemade creation, beard, moustache and pants.

5. Go to the Underground Restaurant's midnight feast

Kerstin Rodgers' Underground Restaurant is making it's way to the Isle Of Wight this September after bringing 3-courses of delicious food to Camp Bestival punters early in the summer. The team will be giving you the chance to eat with a proper knife and fork, off of a proper plate for once this weekend. Plus, tonight they're throwing a pyjama party - join in the midnight fun.
