See Iron Maiden Legend Pilot A Futuristic Airship The Size Of Wembley

What you see above is the world's longest flying machine, The HAV. The futuristic-looking airship has just been unveiled at Britain's biggest aircraft hangar. It's 92 metres long - that's the length of the football pitch at Wembley Stadium. It cost £60m to build. Somewhat unexpectedly one of its investors is Iron Maiden singer Bruce Dickinson. "The airship has always been with us, it's just been waiting for the technology to catch up," he told the BBC.

Frankly, it looks crazy. Apparently you can land this new aircraft by remote control and on water. It can also stay in the sky for three weeks at a time. Yes, three weeks. Now, imagine it hovering over you in the crowd at Download festival...
