So this year’s T In The Park headliners have been announced. Muse and Kasabian are the kind of big-hitting guitar bands you might expect – but Eminem feels like something of a wildcard. It’ll be Slim Shady’s first UK gig in six years.
Indeed, T In The Park festival boss Geoff Ellis confessed as much in a recent interview with News Reporter Matt Wilkinson: “Eminem is the one on the bill that’ll be the real surprise to people.”
Other acts confirmed to play the event, which takes place on July 9-11 in Balado near Kinross, include Jay-Z (who’ll be second on the bill to Kasabian) Biffy Clyro, The Prodigy, La Roux, Calvin Harris and Florence.
The full line-up so far is here. What do you think? Excited? Disappointed? Non-plussed? Plussed? Half-plussed..?
