Sunday, November 1st – LONDON [day off]:

I woke up and stalked to people online, Gentleman Stalking of course - classy and sophisticated. Made some beats and continued to amass a bunch of ideas for Sean and I to work on when we get back in the studio early next year. I can't wait - making music has always been so fucking fun, and writing as 3OH!3 is the best of it - we've been on tour so long that we haven’t really had time to get down and pound out a bunch of new stuff... that time is coming.. I'm so excited. Our bass player and drummer Kam and Adam flew in to play the UK shows with us (both are from Colorado - Kam has his own band, The Chain Gang of 1974, and Adam was one-half of the much acclaimed, and now finished?? duo of Young Coyotes).

It's always so fucking rad to play with those dudes and be on the road with them. We try to make our live show as crazy as we can, and I think they really add to it - they are great musicians and they put on an awesome show. We walked around Hyde Park for a bit, fucked with some of the swans, inappropriately touching their tail feathers, and generally took in an amazing London Fall day. That night we went to some snowboard event south of the river and caught some of the Chase and Status show.

Monday, November 2nd - CARDIFF:
Yet again, I woke up, did some gentlemanly stalking online and made some more beats on my computer - this is becoming routine - I like it... Got some scones for the crew, nobody fucking wanted them, I told them to all go to hell then, they told me to fuck off, we all apologized, and then got in the Sprinter headed for Cardiff. It was an awesome drive - the bridge over the river going into Wales is really something wonderful.

We got into the venue and met the local crew - they were super nice but somewhat "slowed-down" by something that may have been a habitual herbal treatment they take.. whatever. The venue was pretty crazy, kind of a huge dance club turned concert hall.

Everything was TRASHED the fuck out when we got there - I'm talking toilet broken the dressing room, shower pissed in etc etc. I think they had had a Halloween party previously that they had neglected to clean up - fuck it - we added to the wonderful mess. The show was rad - It's so great to play with Kam and Adam again - it really just makes it bigger and more fun onstage. The crowd was great - from what I could tell a fair amount of them had seen us at Reading and Leeds (what I think are still my personal favorite shows of the year). We're planning our stage show for the coming year - it's gonna be a lot more involved... fancy things. Lights, Synths, SOUNDS FROM A TIME LONG FORGOTTEN BY THIS AGE OF MEN....
